French Choir of Washington presents "Un Printemps Enchanté"

An enchanting musical evening to celebrate Spring with a French accent!
Expect a unique eclectic program starring music from everywhere in the world, performed by people who love to sing together! You may hear familiar tunes or discover new ones, even get an opportunity to sing along!
For its 4th annual Spring concert, always sharing its passion and dedication to choral repertoire, the French Choir of Washington will feature its adult and youth choirs singing with a chamber orchestra of thirteen musicians. Piano accompaniment by Julia Aguajo. Choirs and orchestra under the direction of artistic director Simon Charette.
The concert will be followed by a reception with light refreshments and finger food, where you will get a chance to meet with our artistic director, choir members, and musicians.
Be prepared for a joyful, family-friendly musical event, including a concert and a reception with a delicious buffet for all attendees.
The French Choir of Washington includes eighty adults and sixteen youth choristers united by the pleasure of singing in a friendly atmosphere. Based in Bethesda for its Tuesday weekly rehearsals in French, completing its fourth musical season (from September to May), with two annual concerts per year (Winter & Spring), it strives to establish itself as a vibrant actor of the music scene and a valuable contributor to the promotion of the French language in the DC metropolitan area. The French Choir of Washington performs choral pieces from various eras and genres, works with local professional artists and supports community-oriented organizations.
